Very nice chip shop. It has a great understanding of Coeliac, gluten free. Separate fryer and tongs etc. Very helpful. Highly recommended.

I started visiting The Coracle decades ago, when I was a student at Dyfed College of Art. I haven't lived in Carmarthen since then, but whenever I'm in the area I call at The Coracle. I was there at lunchtime on 17/10/2023, and I was served by the most delightful lady. The steak and kidney pie was quite possibly the best I've ever had, incredibly meaty. I'll definitely continue my tradition of visiting The Coracle, it's the best chip shop I know of.

Brilliant fish and chips. Such lovely staff. Gluten free fish and chips were lovely, large portions, gluten free vinegar too. All cooked in a separate fryer. Also available gf sausages. Good set up with relation to covid. We were on holiday in Pembrey but would definitely visit again and recommend!

Best chip shop in town. A busy chip shop is a great chip shop. Chip portions are generous, food is always fresh and hot. The curry sauce is amazing. Great taste and allergy friendly for me. Amazing staff and friendly service, always welcome there. First place we choose and only place we choose. Coming back for batch and chips. Highly, highly recommended.

You place your order, pay (cash or card if over £5) and wait outside.
You get called when your order is ready.
Food is stunning. When I opened the wrapping I thought not much there.
Oh how wrong was I. Chips were good and the chicken and mushroom pie was full of chicken. This wasn't your normal pie damn it was good and now I'm stuffed.

Their gluten free battered fish is lovely and they peel their potatoes not from frozen. They have a lovely sit in place and there is parking. They have their own toilets. Really nice people excellent service.

Best Chippy in Carmarthen by far !
Always have had freshly cooked Food & beautiful Chips cooked to Perfection every time,
and that's since I first started using this Chippy over 15 year's ago now !
The staff are always friendly & Chatty with Happy faces to greet you every time.
Also Generous sized Portions too :-)
