Nice to visit my home town and receive genuine customer service and hospitality. After a quick interaction with 1 of the owners we were moved upstairs to the fireplace, better suited for us even after having ordered. Our waiter upstairs (leopord print queen) interacts with customers with energy and passion and actual want to be there. Wholesome place to visit with costs being reasonable. Sloppys has helped carms thrive and it's great to visit almost 2 years later and standards are just as high as they started. Great amount of interaction to be had with staff and a grand piano open to those who fancy showing off! I would come here just for casual drinks too, as that side of the menu was also reasonably priced. Limited but not short of options as a veggi, but atmosphere tops. Meat options are generous and good value for money. Great that they're open until 6pm on a Sunday, as everywhere else is closed! (except chain business'). Well done team
Fabulous food in a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the food so much that we came twice during our week's holiday in Carmarthen! Really delicious burgers and meatballs. The fries are amazing. Wish we lived closer!
Food is awesome and very sloppy. I had the fat cow which is a big hot dog covered with pulled beef and gravy. I was very full. The staff were very helpful. They have good vegan and vegetarian options. It is in the town centre so you park in one of those car parks.
We were looking for dog friendly places to eat, and Sloppy Joe's Streetfood didn't come up right away. However, walking past Jackson's Lane there was this amazing smell wafting up that we just had to follow. We were able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy some tasty food, drink and music. We picked up a couple of doughnuts for the road, and there was doggy ice cream too! If we're back in Carmarthen in the future we will definitely come back.
What a quirky little place tucked away this is!! Beautiful food, nice atmosphere and funky decor would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
I really enjoyed my meal here. The service was quite slow but the food was worth it. The portions are quite sizable. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I would visit again to try the other items on their very large menu.
WOW 😍 If you're looking for cheap good food in Carmarthen this is the place to go to. The venue is absolutely fantastic & the staff are a credit to the restaurant. The food is incredible and I can't wait to go back and try more.
Absolutely amazing food, heavenly. Came dinner time on a Monday, was served very quickly by very kind staff members. Will be returning for drinks and some of their sweet treats as well as some of their funky burgers
Fab place in Carmarthen to eat and drink! I have been wanting to try here for aaaaaages and glad we finally popped in! Staff very friendly and attentive, we were a little cold on the sofa's so one of the ladies very kindly let us move upstairs and informed the chef etc we had moved. Food was incredible, huge portions and tasted amazing. The Festive fries are stunning! We caught a glimpse of the doughnut stand on the way in and simply couldn't leave without one... or three... Oops! Doughnuts were devine, soft, doughy and glazed to perfection. Also tried a salted caramel Welsh cake, as we were obviously intrigued. Very sad I didn't buy a dozen!! Will definitely be returning!!
Found this amazing place by accident. First thing you notice is the staff. So friendly and fun, very welcoming (sweetie this and sweetie that)
The place is super cool from the outside (which caught my eye when passing) and even cooler on the inside, even the toilets are cool. Amazing decor.
Then the food, wide variety of very tasty and innovative dishes.
Meet is butchered on site and the flavour of my burger was exceptional.
Don’t wait to pass this place by chance, seek it out and you won’t be disappointed 😀
