A must visit when in the area. Great coffee and chai lattes, and the baked goods… oh.my. 😍 Service is extremely friendly (thanks again Steph!) and they allow dogs as well. 🥰 Bought coffee as well to prolong the experience at home. 👍🏻 Will definitely visit again! Thanks guys! 🫶🏻

I've been a bit of a fan of Coaltown coffee for a while, drinking it in other coffee ☕ shops ( namely in Llanelli) but this was the first time I've been in their own coffee shop. Really nice, used it as a meeting place with an old friend, service was great, lovely ambience about the place and of course great coffee. I'd go out of my way to drop in again.
Fantastic place - amazing coffee, delicious cake, great atmosphere and also made our dog feel welcome!! We were even given a very informative tour of the roastery by Amelia, one of the friendly staff members. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!
Honestly I only popped in to charge my power bank. Turns out the coffee is great, affordable and the staff are super nice. Quirky place, you can see right through to their roasters next door. Dog friendly too- loved watching a black lab sit for treats from the staff whilst I ordered

Such a cool experience being inside the roastery, awesome equipment/eco cups, and love the boards telling the story/purpose/mission of the place, much respect for the ethics ✌ staff are super nice too, very chatty and make you feel so welcome.
Now the important bit, the coffees!
We had our usuals - decaf latte, decaf oat flat white.
Latte - really excellent taste, perfect temperature (not too hot), spot on texture (not too thick/thin). I was quite surprised that the standard is only a single shot though - this is what I ordered for my first one and it was much too weak. I watched the other half of the double shot being split away from my cup, and presumably discarded, so when I ordered a double shot latte the next time round I was a bit surprised to pay extra for the other half of the shot! Really would love it if the standard was a double shot in a latte, to be the same as what I've found to be in all the other coffee shops on our 'decent coffee' list.
Flat white was perrrrrfect though.

Excellent tea and cake. Selection of cake was limited but was delicious nonetheless.
It has a nice atmosphere but is a bit cramped with the tables and chairs, leaving little space for maneuvering in my wheelchair.
Also although it's really cool being able to see where they grind the coffee beans, it can be very loud so be prepared for pauses in your conversations.

Great experience today. Staff really welcoming and efficient - much improved. The coffee is always delicious and the lemon drizzle cake was superb.
Went here randomly on a small drive and I have to say it is fantastic. The coffees taste amazing, its dog friendly and the staff is super friendly. Price slightly higher than normal for the size of the coffee but price doesn't matter when taste and presentation is so good. Will definitely be going back more
