Recently stayed here with a large group. Highly recommend. The staff were friendly, accommodating and could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant. Food in the restaurant was delicious, rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. Prices are extremely reasonable. Would stay again.

We've just had a late Sunday Lunch, the carvery had been cleared away due to how late we were eating but we were told that the carvery option was still available.
We were looked after by two lovely ladies and given a choice of meats for our carvery. The meal was beautifully presented, generous portion and very tasty.
We will be back with our two children.

Only visited the restaurant. Delicious food. Understaffed. The single handed lady was rushed off her feet

We stayed here as a base for a steam train excursion from Carnforth to Scarborough.
The railway station is just a few minutes walk away.
The room was spacious and clean, as was the ensuite bathroom.
The only negative was the bed, or rather the mattress which had no support at all and just sank down to the divan when one lay down on it. Also had a couple of springs that were a little prominent 🥴.
Sadly the brasserie had no chef when we visited, so no cooked breakfast available and evening meals for residents only, cooked by the landlady. We had breakfast and dinner on the train so this didn't affect us.
Excellent value nonetheless at just £150 for the two nights, for two people.

Just called in for some lunch not realising it was a hotel, even though it was at the end of their lunchtime service we orderedSteak and Ale Pie, chunky chips, peas and red cabbage. It was lovely, the pie was packed with meat, the chips were crispy and I even squeezed in a cheeky pint of Boddingtons.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is situated in the centre of Carnforth.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Carnforth. Very close to a main road, but the hotel is very clean and the rooms are lovely. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower, so that’s a bonus. Nice comfy chair in the room so you can have a nice little relax if you want to.
