Superb butcher. We ordered sirloin steak, minced beef, lamb and pork. Also middle cut bacon (cut quite thickly, not dry-cured, I don’t think - but tasty). This was to feed 20 hungry holidaymakers. Delicious.

Butchers like they used to make them - excellent selection of high-quality meat and service that is second-to-none. Worth travelling for - on the more expensive side but a nice treat.

My god, this butcher can make good pies.

We make a special trip from Dumfries every few weeks to stock up on Griersons pies....they are superb. I can'tcreally recommend one more thanbthe other as they are all of equal, excellent, quality but my 12 year old son loves the pulled pork pasties and would, if he could, live on them!!

Just eaten whatever it was that I bought yesterday at this brilliant butchers & it was delicious! Minced fillet, haggis top, wrapped in bacon - amazing just can’t remember its name ! The staff were so helpful & knowledgeable, it was a very pleasant shopping experience! Shop was immaculate, & the range of meats & products incredible ! Thanks so much ! Live in Girvan but will be back !

Wonderful staff, very pleasant and eager to help, the steaks and the pork chops were wonderful, possibly one of the best that I ever have in Scotland, looking forward to cook the rabbits today. Just a shame they are too far from Edinburgh, but I will be there next time I'm around.
