Stopped here for a big lunch half way through a long day's cycle. We weren't disappointed. Great sized portions, lovely cream tea and lots of choice. Very reasonably priced.
Walked from Westerdale to Castleton and spotted this little gem!
It is an absolutely gorgeous little place.
The staff are really friendly and the food and drinks are delicious and well priced, good quality and value for money.
The menu has a good variety of foods on it.
Well worth a visit!

Had a delicious cream scone on a damp afternoon, a lovely cozy place.

Absolutely excellent we had apple pie and cream and treacle pie and custard it was superb. The coffees were also top notch aswell the girls who served us were lovely and the owner told us she did all the baking herself ,she is the best baker in Yorkshire surely! This is my second visit, and what a delight. Again. Despite, or even because of, the weather, the view from the rear seating area is worthy of your time. Staff are friendly. The fare is simple but tasty. Egg and chips, fantastic. Bacon sarnie, equally so. Good fuel for the Moors.

Amazing breakfasts! Lovely staff and a cracking view of the valley. Haven’t sampled beyond the all day breakfast but other food looks good when it comes out. Breakfast is hearty and delicious.

A wonderfully friendly place. The staff are very helpful, the food is beautiffully made and presented. And on top of all that they are very dog friendly. They made our stay here.
Lovely friendly staff give you a warm welcome and do great home cooked food. Special diets catered for and its dog friendly too, highly recommended.

Just stopped at the tea room as on our way to the coast , had a latte and a brownie . Brownie melts in the mouth. Lovely staff and a beautiful tea room with a view . Thank you. Jennifer xx
Nicely furnished. Large portions, and relatively cheap prices. Love the massive rabbits outside. Nice view of the bowling green out back.
Still serving great scampi and chips after 2pm on a grim wet day when things must have been quiet. Good coffee too.
