This is such a lovely place to stop when I'm out walking. The staff are so friendly and if you sit outside the view of the moors is just amazing. The food is gorgeous and all cooked to order and fresh. Would HIGHLY recommend a visit!

Fantastic! Highly recommended! Great service and friendly staff, home made food that tastes spectacular and delicious, plenty of choice also for drinks, ideal for singles, couples, families /with children , cyclists, trekkers and travellers. Also has a post office inside too! Has a outside area with great scenery, the place to be if you are passing or live local and is dog friendly too!

Stopped here for a big lunch half way through a long day's cycle. We weren't disappointed. Great sized portions, lovely cream tea and lots of choice. Very reasonably priced.

Walked from Westerdale to Castleton and spotted this little gem! It is an absolutely gorgeous little place. The staff are really friendly and the food and drinks are delicious and well priced, good quality and value for money. The menu has a good variety of foods on it. Well worth a visit!

Absolutely excellent we had apple pie and cream and treacle pie and custard it was superb. The coffees were also top notch aswell the girls who served us were lovely and the owner told us she did all the baking herself ,she is the best baker in Yorkshire surely! I would highly recommend this cafe to one and all it is very very good 🎂 ☕

This is my second visit, and what a delight. Again. Despite, or even because of, the weather, the view from the rear seating area is worthy of your time. Staff are friendly. The fare is simple but tasty. Egg and chips, fantastic. Bacon sarnie, equally so. Good fuel for the Moors.

Nice place and seemed popular whilst I was there. Very clean loos. Friendly staff. Coffee is decent, the large is LARGE. I didn't eat but the food looked good that was brought out to other tables.

Amazing breakfasts! Lovely staff and a cracking view of the valley. Haven’t sampled beyond the all day breakfast but other food looks good when it comes out. Breakfast is hearty and delicious.
