Jamie was friendly and met us at the door. She was very attentive and made us feel relaxed and welcome. We all (5) of us had meals which were delicious and freshly cooked by Lisa the chef. I recommend the meals as they are good value 😋

The best ale in town with friendly staff and talkative locals, what’s not to like. Regular guest ales, quiz nights and darts league with occasional entertainment, live bands. The oldest site in town plus lots of small rooms and outside seating areas. My favourite Caterham pub for a slow beer and chat after a long week at work

Very crowded and very noisy but an enjoyable Thursday quiz night with decent questions and raising money for charity. Darts available and a good range of beers. Car park plus parking on the High Street. Often has live music and shows sports too.

This pub is always busy, with a real mix of clientele. Staff are busy but always friendly. A good mix of events and, thankfully, no blaring music, so everyone can converse without shouting. A real jewel on The Hill. Keep it up, please.

A totally unbiased review, a pub is very much the representation of the landlord; in this case Kathy Hill.
One would find it difficult to find a more warm, welcoming and friendly pub than the King and Queen. I am lucky enough to visit several times a week, and I am never let down. Kathy has built a friendly, personable team in an environment that is quintessentially English, your local pub. Not only does she have a decent selection of drinks to accommodate all tastes, but the live music nights and events are awesome.
Please visit, I would guarantee you will have a lovely evening in front of the fire, or at the bar!
