Brilliant re-find ! We haven’t been here for years but we’re glad we’ve returned. The new owners have really made a difference. The service was very friendly and we noticed a bit of a refurb which makes the place look good. Dog friendly as well. Best of all, the menu is full of great pub classics, at prices not seen around here any more ! There are also a few interesting Caribbean influenced items (I had the mutton curry which was lovely) as well and the food we’ve had so far tasted great and was beautifully presented. We’ll be back and regularly !

Absolutely fantastic meal for the four of us. Beautifully served and presented. Just gorgeous food, all our plates were cleaned, we left nothing. Staff were wonderful. Thank you.

I’ve just stayed here on the Brit Stops deal. What a great place. The staff are really friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. We had Caribbean Curry.
The locals were great fun to chat to. I hope to return to this very friendly pub. The event calendar looks pretty good too.
All in all a very well run pub that deserves to be supported.

It was a late afternoon visit so not too many people about . Staff were engaging and polite !
We indulged in a couple of pints of Guinness poured carefully and slowly (no rush ) !

Went on a Thursday and asked if they would cook me a Tika curry and they obliged. Always had good service and food each time I have been.

First visit to The Lamb in Chalgrove today. Lunchtime meal and drinks.
As soon as we walked in the door I felt comfortable and the welcome from the lady at the bar was very good. Information about the menu and specials was good and the food ordered was received quickly and was excellent. 10/10 for food.
I'm a real ale drinker and they only had 1 ale on (Tribute) which is a little disappointing but it was a very well kept pint. Lots of lagers on tap though if that's your thing.
We had our granddaughter with us and there aren't any change facilities which again is a little disappointing but I guess if their clientele isn't family orientated then that's acceptable, or is it?
For me, get a local ale in and somewhere that can be used as a child change facility and it's a 5 star pub.
Will we visit again? Yes, I think we will.

The food was really good and wasn't just thrown together ---- the place is absolutely tidy and clean and above all the menus for gluten or dairy free are huge Definitely worth going
