Great food at a great price. A friend and I both had the senior deal at £6.49 for 2 course and an extra £1 for a third. The choices for this deal were limited, e.g., only 2 starters to choose from, but we were happy. A variety of beer on offer. The barmen were friendly and efficient.
We stopped here for an evening meal and a drink. The pub was clean and tidy and the food menu was extensive. We did wait quite some time for our meal which was surprising as the pub was fairly quiet. …
Excellent pub for sport and socialising with friends and family. Kids always welcome with the bonus of a large garden. Bar staff are always friendly and attentive you will never wait for a drink like you will at other local pubs during busy times
Love going to Monks. Great staff - particularly Izzy - she is always helpful, in great spirit and a funny character. Would recommend this place for good atmosphere.
