Dropped in, on the off chance and greeted with a smile and a lovely welcome.
Tapas was very good, as was the Tribute.
Personally, I prefer pubs to be a little warmer ... but that's just me, as I feel the cold.
Would definitely go again.

I'm so happy the newly refurbished Green Dragon has started serving food. I had a delicious halloumi burger there tonight and I loved the presentation (and nice crockery), even the side salad had clearly been put together with care and a very tasty dressing! Currently the menu is limited, especially for vegetarians, but the quality is good so I would certainly recommend.
Update: they have stopped doing meals now after just a few weeks which is a real shame 😕

Had the most gorgeous dinner at the newly renovated Green Dragon - beautiful interior and atmosphere (the bar is stunning!), fantastic selection of drinks, and the most delicious food at excellent value! Had the amazing Dragon Burger - double Powderham Castle Estate beef patties, double bacon, double cheese, the crispiest onion rings and chips, and a salad dressing to die for! Very impressive vegetarian and vegan options as well! Absolutely worth a detour if you're in the area!

First night for us down at the newly renovated Green Dragon and what a treat it was!
Amazing staff a good selection of beers, even for the more discerning/annoying of the group, and we were the first patrons of the freshly opened kitchen, thanks for a lovely evening!

Came to visit my family with my fiancee for my 23rd birthday. All our food was superb and staff very friendly, especially the waitress, did very well managing all the tables! (Visited friday 21st feb at around half 6 till about 8ish, 9 ish.) Fab vegan/veggie food and meat food too for my family. My brother is not eating a lot at the moment due to wanting to be slimmer and the pub didnt mind him having a bannana,although we felt awful but didnt want him to miss out being with us all together! So it was lovely he could join us and not feel judged for just having a bannana like he wanted. Thank you so much for making our evening a great one! Have been before when down my parents, and will most definitely return again and again xxxx
