Food good, friendly family atmosphere but with quiet pub section. Very large inside don't be fooled as the pub looks tiny from the front. Large outside area and campsite.

Had a lovely carvery on Sunday with the family. 6 adults and 2 children. The food was lovely and hot, nicely presented and the staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely

Thought some of the things could be different the vegetables were hard. I did mention this. And the table was very sticky.
Was a very loud place. Don't think I would go for a Sunday dinner again. Plus bit pricey....

We visited wonderful place on short notice without booking. They were dog friendly and the food was up there. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the service was on point. We will definitely visit again.

Staff lovely, food is good pub grub but a little pricey. Their pizza and curry nights however are extremely good value.

Visited last night for dinner. We had a lovely meal of fish and chips and curry. Food was well presented and hot. Staff friendly and pub seating area was comfortable. Neck Oil IPA which is always a bonus. Would recommend a visit.

Great meal with family on a mid week evening, service was great and a good choice of food. Super food salad was very tasty. Just be careful on the road, seems to be used as a race track by motorcycles.

Great place for food esp. a Sunday carvery, large outdoor seating and childs play area with stunning views over the valley... Staff tho busy were courteous and welcoming even to someone you hadn't booked for a carvery(which I would recommend you do).I Cannot recommend the windwhistle enough

Lovely friendly local pub with good food! We had the curry, scampi, burger and child sausage and chips as well as chocolate brownies and sticky toffee puddings and they all tasted great!

Amazing! Best pub I think I’ve ever been too. Amazing beer garden with a newly built play area and 2 open fields, lots of outside and inside seating. Outside heaters, sheltered seating and benches. Drinks not overpriced I found them fair especially given the location. Recommend 100% great for everyone
