Awesome Hake cooked fresh to order. Family size portion of chips was huge and really great value for money! Have been using fish bar for a long time and just keeps getting better! Fantastic service too!

The chips were decent and the curry sauce was great!
We had a pretty large order they said between 20:00 and 20:10 and we got it by 20:10 so pretty good on timings.
The only thing is there wasn’t any note on the individual parcels of food that said what was what. As i said we had a reasonably big order so it was a bit of effort opening everything up before passing it around and working out which had vinegar, which had salt, and which had neither.
I was reluctant to get dinner here but actually the pizzas are really good we tried 4 different types. The ham and pineapple is a bit bland but the base was so nice. Our favourite was the 4 cheese pizza and the pepperoni. So so nice no regrets. I would be nice if they had napkins for the people eating outside.
Walked past and decided to pop back later. When I returned I discovered the long wait and it would have been more sensible to have placed order online when first passing. Ended up ordering online anyway and this was easy to do.

They do everything right. The food is all great - we had pizza, fish and chips, burgers and chunky-moo shakes over a few nights.
Big well done to the staff too. When we went they were really short and it was really busy. You all did so well to stay calm and serve everyone in good time. Love the queue info live on the big screen too. You know exactly where you are.

Food is nice. Chips are good along with the curry sauce and fish. The first let down is the price of the 'large chips'. From the picture you can clearly see it's a a medium sized tray. This barely stretched 2 very hungry people and it's £4.80!!! Don't give me the rubbish of 'its gone up 5 times in the past year ' it's a potatoe. 2 potatoes extra is all that so needed and it's a good portion. I'm abit of a chip shop fan especially on the coast and every other chippy has a bag that can feed 4 people. I paid 12quid for fish and chips by the beach 2 days ago and it was a massive portion! My local charges £3.50 for a huge bag. The food is great but such a shame that the size let it down. And 9.80 for a large haddock is a little pricey too. I know it's Devon but cmon. It would be ideal for you to explain the portion sizes on your website or in person as this is a rip off.
The fish was perfectly cooked with light crispy batter. The chips tasted great and the curry sauce did too.
2 medium cod and a medium chips to share left 2 of us nicely full.

We called in at Charmouth fish bar as the pub nearby was fully booked for food orders and we were not disappointed. We had a chicken & chorizo pizza, a portion of chips and pot of curry. It was so nice and pretty good value for money. My husband was a bit disappointed it wasn't deep pan but it was good for me, altho could've done with a bit more topping. However, thoroughly enjoyed it
All the food was great! We weren't able to get a pizza the first time due to staff shortage but we were told ahead of time on the website. The fish and chips was fab, and I had to share mine as the portions are pretty big!
We had a pizza at a different time and it was worth the wait. We booked in for click and collect, which was very useful, and the pizzas tasted great!
Online ordering is swift and efficient. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were the best we've had in a long time. Gorgeous fresh dough, masses of cheese and toppings, hot and delicious food. We will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.
The food is really good, probably one of the best. Would have got 5 stars however we did a large order for 10 and by the time we got to our destination, and gave everyone their food, there was a portion of chips missing, definitely ordered them as correct on receipt. Check your order before leaving the business. Happy ending, everyone donated some chips to make up the lost portion 🙂
