Amazing roast dinner yesterday, really tasty great portion size and the rhubarb crumble for dessert was stunning. I really recommend The Royal Oak, the staff and the place deserves your business, it’s also for a good mix of homely pub and upmarket bar all at the same time

1st time been in here. Had a dj on fairly busy. Bought pint of Guinness, pint dark fruit & 4 baby Guinness. £27. Which I thought was a bit pricey. Still enjoyed my visit here. Didn't have food so didn't rate that.

Beautiful evening meal tonight, fresh, home made, good portion sizes, and so tasty. Served with friendly banter. Dog friendly pub too which is great. A little quiet, but it was a Wed. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff and atmosphere with a decent choice of Robbies ales. Food also served and there are regular events and music in the evenings in this lively local pub.

My partner & I were blown away when we first visited. The food is to die for - hands down, the absolute best we've ever had. Generous portions, clearly homemade & cooked to order - no microwave dinners here! We've been back a couple of times since & we're really impressed with how consistent the food's been. The staff are friendly & approachable, & the atmosphere was very light - most enjoyable. :)
