Really lovely pub. Staff really friendly, nice selection of drinks, locals equally friendly, but I need to polish up my act when it comes to card games.
We called ahead to check we could stop in the car park overnight in our camper, was no problem.
Whole place was welcoming & very clean.

Lovely staff, cute pub, expensive but amazing food, worth the 45 minute wait. The wait is the only reason for 4 stars. Nice beer garden with a great view, good beers, great triple cooked chips, roast dinners were insanely good. Always get the cauliflower cheese!! Chicken was moist, pork belly was perfectly cooked, homemade sauces and gravy were great. Would definitely come again. A slight walk from cheddar centre, but we were recommended by a guy who worked in a bar down the road, and it was well worth the walk.

While staying in cheddar, we visited twice. The pub is dog friendly.
The service and food was excellent both nights. The staff are very friendly.
We will be back to this area.

Fantastic, 10 out of 10. Very delicious food, excellent chef. Good quality ingredients, great quality meat. I would go as far as saying the best meal I've eaten to date.

Came here for dinner after visiting the caves. Staff were extremely pleasant, we sat in the bar for a couple of hours until the kitchen opened and spent a long time looking at the menu.
The food was amazing. Scallops were tender yet meaty. The mussels were tasty and prepared really well. The fish platter was exceptional.
All in a lovely building, with lots of original details still visible, yet with all the modern trimmings required to run a business.

Sunday lunch - what a stunning meal! Beautiful meat and a selection of superb vegetable dishes - everything cooked to perfection and so tasty! We didn't even have to ask for an extra jug of gravy, it was brought out with all the veg.
Before we left I booked Sunday lunch for the whole family in a week or two.

Can't say enough about how nice it was.
The food was fantastic. Mussels were lovely, fish was huge, the chips (both chunky and fries) were seasoned perfectly and the ceasar salad was gorgeous.
The pub was bright and welcoming. The staff and service was fantastic and overall the food was great value for money with big potions.
If we weren't just here on holiday we would be back again and again.
