Channels Bar & Brasserie - Chelmsford - Photo album

Food was lovely (I had the pork schnitzel) however menu items are bit pricey. For somewhere that charges £20 per main and £6 per side dish I would expect more than satchets of ketchup and mayonnaise. I would at least expect a generous serving in a condiment ramekin. Beers are London prices, the fact
Visited for a Sunday morning breakfast courtesy of my employer. Peaceful setting within country aide beside the Channels housing area. Well kept gardens and tidy surroundings make a good impression upon arrival. The interior is a mix of thick timbers, glass, polished steel and smart seating. Big w
Went here for a Sunday Roast for 5 people. The food was quick to be served, but well prepared apart from the cauliflower cheese was lacking on the cheese. The vegetarian option was a bit limited, I had thought the No Meat Roast was a nut roast or similar. However it was just the veg, if there was mo
Loved it .. what a find ! Close to a weekend holiday let we had so gave it a try .. tapas/starter dishes were absolutely delicious and felt really modern and seasonal. Mains were just as good. Friendly staff .. live band and a great selection of decent wines and beers!
Well, incredible. My first visit. I certainly hope it's not my last. What a lovely place for lunch. Serving staff really lovely. Cookery outstanding and unusual, and interesting. To start, Pig Cheek Doughnut. Gooey, crispy, unctuous pulled pork, cheesy sauce and pineapple too. Fascinating and gorgeo
Amazing food and very good service!
Went for breakfast, choice is minimal but you can build your own if required. There's no continental pastry options. The full English was a little disappointing for the price, mainly a load of mushrooms and a tin of beans, oh and you get 1 slice of toast.
We had a family breakfast here - a party of six. We all had something different from the menu and it came out piping hot, poached, scrambled and fried eggs were cooked to perfection - I would personally recommend the eggs Royal-just yummy! Staff attentive enough without being fussy, a good start to
I love a good Sunday roast and this place does a banging Sunday roast. My wife and I both had the pork rack (although hidden under roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pud it was still a decent portion size) everything tasted amazing, quality ingredients cooked with care and attention. I would go every S
The staff were friendly and professional. The table where we were seated to dine was intimate and made it easy for us to enjoy each others company The food was good with portions a reasonable size (not too big or small). I had beef with beans. The beef was fantastic. The beans were undercooked and
Nice food & staff plus dog friendly in the bar. We had some confusion with the cost of the battered fish and chips as there's two different prices and we'd ordered from the Wednesday 'Thai' menu (same meal is £2 more on regular menu). Dessert descriptions are a little odd.
10 Stars more like it. Staff are always absolutely brilliant, food is always delicious. Lovely atmosphere as well ❤️
Lovely establishment. Food and service are excellent. I can't do anything but rave about it.
Amazing venue on the edge of Chelmsford, been going here for years and the staff, the food and more importantly service has always been 5 star, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend channels bar & brasserie so much that I proposed to my future wife here. Hope you enjoy as much as we did 😊
Stayed as part of my 50th year celebrations. Unsure of cost but enjoyed the room and bar below immensely. Very clean with all the amenities you could want for a night away. Bed was very comfortable. Stayed in the Aspen room, quite low ceilings but added to the charm of the place. Evening meal and br
