Today I visited Preto for the third time. Every visit has always been pleasurable. The staff are polite and attentive.
I love the concept of the restaurant and having the cards. It means we didn't get disturbed when we did not require more food.
The food itself was well cooked and offered variety. When I first visited before corona they had food set out on the middle cart which offered variety and the ability to get food as and when I wanted. I am curious as to whether this will come back?
A terrific secret - lunchtime menu was a continuous round of meats, salads, rice, pasta, sauces - just wonderful.
The venue had a great atmosphere and a nice surrounding space.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
I couldn't help but consider the juxtaposition of Burger King opposite - crammed full of punters looking sad and miserable in their huge line. Don't get me wrong, I love a Burger King, but so glad I made this choice and I WILL be back again.

Post COVID, Preto has removed their great salad bar and moved it to a menu. You can enjoy as much as you like, ordering small plates as you go. There's a wide range of interesting dishes. But then on to the meats which are the star attraction of which there are lots and all delicious.
The restaurant is large and spacious, but can get warm. The sangria is recommended to cool you off!
It's £25 for the standard experience, but discounts are available for students, cinema goers and people watching football. Come hungry as there is a lot of food!
Great place for some Brazilian food! You definitely get your monies worth. The meat was cooked and seasoned lovely as well as the fantastic range of sides that you get with your meal.
The service was fantastic and the servers had a good sense of humour too. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this restaurant.
Went here for lunch & tried the Brazilian buffet. Enjoyed the salad side of the buffet first & then tucked into the hot food on the other side. Enjoyed the food, staff were lovely, very reasonable price. Will definitely eat here again & leave room for the delicious looking deserts next time.

Very nice experience, Ruben, Cauan, Ana, Natasha and Matheus were really nice and made sure we stayed as comfortable as possible.
The food quality was really good as well, probably the best I've had in England for some time.Good quality meat, really nice staff and some really good Portuguese beer (super Bock), it makes preto a restaurant you will, for sure, want to visit.

We booked a table here for a friend's 50th birthday and the food was amazing, every type of meat brought to our table was delicious and tasted very different. This was our first time and we will be going back very soon. Great staff and a great atmosphere.
We came for lunch which was really good value. You get to choose from a variety of sides (mostly and sufficient that are included in the price) and then a selection of meats get brought round to you. All the meat was obviously freshly done as you can see where it is being cooked behind the metal. We had a selection of chorizo, 3 types of steak and two different chickens. The garlic steak was really good. The drinks are fairly priced too and the staff were friendly.
