I was visiting Stow Hall Farm to visit my other half's family, and I really wanted to visit the Prince of Wales. Great reviews. I found it very beautiful and very friendly. I didn't eat but met two people who had visited for the first time too. They were amazed at the pub and said that they would definitely be back. They had heard of their reputation, so they visited. They left very happy as I and my partner. I'll be back, and this time, I will definitely have a meal for sure!
Lovely old pub - unusual layout inside. Built in 1800's, and served some of the airmen from the secret airfield nearby.
Food excellent! Good menu plenty of choice. Defo will re visit. The cod here is rumoured to be as big as a whale so you better have a good appetite! 😀
My expectation for service, food quality and atmosphere was high. I ordered Fish and chips with mushy peas. Others in the group chose Scallops. The service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere was the best "Olde Pub" I have found. The decor supported the history of WWI RAC at Stow Maries with fascinating Posters and pics. The Fish and chips were a LARGE well-prepared portion - what a Value! The parking and grounds were very tidy & welcoming.

Called in for a late lunch. First time visit. Service was polite and a great selection of beers and food.
Food was on the table for 4 of us less than 10 minutes after we ordered. Fantastic service, especially as the pub was full.

We don't go here as often as we should be when we do we've always had a great experience.
We last visited on a Thursday evening for something to eat and the place was so busy we had to wait for a table. It's good to see such a thriving business
We came across this pub on our travels, when we were looking for a light bite and we are glad that we did. It's quirky in decor and very friendly. We only had a sandwich which was very nice.
Proper English pub with decent beers and good food. Lovely laid back atmosphere. We enjoyed the lunch and my friend who emigrated to NZ 20 years ago, loved being in a proper pub once more
Love this old historic pub. Great selection of real ales and looked like a good food offering. Spacious garden.
Seven of us just called in for lunch on our cycle ride, good food and beer/cider, we sat outside in the sun at the picnic tables, very accommodating.
