We have stopped in a couple of times on our weekend bike rides. The bacon sandwiches and coffee are great, and judging by the heaving plates being carried past, the breakfasts are enormous and tasty.
Very cycle friendly, and service is excellent too.

Had a great breakfast enjoyed it so much came back for lunch a few weeks later !! Great location good meeting point - fabulous food and friendly staff!! What more can you want!

Good food but they need to improve their customer service. Half of the breakfast order was sent out, and we had to ask at the rest after waiting 10 minutes. Nobody checked on us after first half was sent out

Absolutely wonderful place. Lots of places to sit inside and out. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the cakes heavenly. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

My tuna and mayo sandwiche in granary, once returned after sending it back because the bread on the top was rock hard and curling, was delicious. Loads of filling. Great value. Huge portion. One sandwich would have fed myself and a friend. Good service with friendly accommodating staff.

Friendly attentive service, food was excellent altho a bit pricey, still it was the wife's birthday meal, so no expense spared 😁. There were flower tubs everywhere with loads of bees & a live saxophonist. Good evening.

Large gastro pub not far from the campsite we were staying at in early January. Great to see vegan milkshakes on the menu but given this, was surprised to see so few vegan options on the food menu; only vegan choice was soup of the day. When it came out it was broccoli and Stilton! 😄 The waiter quickly substituted for tomato soup. We did find out that the veggie chickpea curry and hummus sandwich were also vegan though only marked as veggie on the menu. Staff very friendly.
We also came here on Christmas Eve for drinks and s’mores outside with the fire pit and patio heaters. This was a great idea and again the staff were super helpful and were running things like clockwork.

Booked for the annual Christmas evening around the fire pit with a tipsy Snowman. Such a wonderful place, family friendly and I highly recommend the Halloumi strips, may be the best thing I've ever tasted! Honestly can't tell you how lovely it is. Make sure to wrap up warm as it is outside. ❤️
