Grand Central, Chelmsford

Excellent Bar/Club feel to this venue. Nice modern interior, great food, superb location, big screen for sports, nice restaurant area, very good side room with pool table, also ideal for private functions, professional friendly staff, people need to discover and use this place so it's not lost! Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this place. Me and my mum were on a coach trip to see the Rolling Stones and stopped in Chelmsford for an hour. Parked up right outside so we thought we'd give it a go. Staff were really friendly, drinks were lovely and the food was really good. I had nachos and a Roy Rogers! Beautiful! All decked out for the World Cup too which was great and the decor is really interesting. Toilets were very clean which is always a bonus. Would definitely go again if I'm ever I'm the area. Also, not very expensive so we were really chuffed!

We attended Grand Central on Monday evening, we was due to have a meeting in chelsmford however the venue we booked let us down, we call Grand Central and they provided us the side room free of charge! We offered to pay however they didn't want any money from us! Staff were very nice and helpful! Very thankful for there help!

Delicious food. Ely set the bar high - and I'm glad to say this place delivers, too. With a vibrant atmosphere and helpful staff, this family-friendly Bar & Grill serves a variety of tasty food and drink with music at an unintrusive volume level. I highly recommend the Grand Central Salad (+/- chicken) for those mean-keen salad eaters. The cheese and bacon potato bakes aren't half-baked either for a light side dish option. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but for a small company of some half-dozen branches, it's definitely among the tastiest.
