Gone are the days where department stores have basic food and average drinks. Debenhams in Chelmsford had very friendly and helpful young members of staff in their restaurant. Their cooked breakfast is highly recommended and very good value for money. All different sorts of coffees mocha hot chocolate etc. They are happy to mix up the breakfast with your own preferences and are very accommodating.
Went back and had a lovely mocha with a cream scone (fruit , berry or chocolate and hazelnut available). Photo attached . Scone was delicious. Staff should be commended for their attitude and help

Staff and goods always good. Tea room downstairs was brilliant. Delicious coffee and hot chocolate and serving girls very friendly and all tables very clean x

Since the refurbishment of the store it feels like a different place. There are many makeup outlets and very pleasant staff. Estee Lauder is my favourite I have to admit.

I really like shopping in Debenhams in Chelmsford. There is access to so many lovely brands, the shoe department is very nice and the restaurant is always clean and airy. My favourite shop in Chelmsford 😊

Amazing sale and super helpful staff. Would have got 5stars but I'm still disappointed that they didn't pay for any of their summer stock. Poor India
