Always fabulous fish and chips from Churchills! We somehow always decide on F&Cs on a Friday. It's a short drive and always get a space along the road and although they are always busy, we never wait more than 10 minutes for our order. The team are polite and efficient and seem to work incredibly hard whilst super busy. Love that everything is packaged in cardboard/paper - no plastic anywhere! Best chippy in Chelmsford!

Always busy but food is good and the staff are great. Last visited on a busy Good Friday evening and the young staff were all so enthusiastic and helpful. 5 stars for them alone.

Noticed the super long queue on a Friday night and decided to give them a try. Churchills does great fish and chips! They serve a decent portion size, reasonable price, good service and the staff are super friendly. What’s not to like?
