ALWAYS A NICE TIME HERE, COUPLE NEW FACES BEHIND THE BAR SINCE I LAST CAME, SOME OLD FACES TOO BUT ALWAYS LOVELY STAFF. HAVENT BEEN FOR A WHILE AS IVE BEEN UNWELL, BUT WE ALWAYS GET A NICE WELCOME AND THE FOOD AND DRINK IS GOOD AND A GOOD PRICE TOO. LIVE SPORT AND FREE WIFI TOO

Had a lovely meal this afternoon in the garden. The food and the service was outstanding. Bar staff very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back. Thank you.

Best pub in Chelmsford. When I ended up blacking out from drinking too much whisky, I fell out my wheelchair outside the front on the pub and started crawling around like a baby who munched up some mdma and a very nice bartender helped me get back in my chair. It's one of the most regrettable hangovers ever.

We went here for our staff Christmas party with vouchers we had as a gift and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were a large party with various changes before the event without any problems. Such great value for money that we had money left on the vouchers to spend on a few bottles of Prosecco. Great night to round off the school term. We’ll be back!
