First visit having driven past many times.
Came here looking for a cafe offering full English and good (proper) coffee.
I ordered 2MT Eggs and my partner although wanting a full English, went for the Veggie breakfast.
Both were great, though my poached eggs were slightly under cooked. I recommend the 2MT Eggs.
The coffee was exactly what we were looking for, our flat whites were nice and strong.
Added bonus: got the car cleaned next door while we ate!

Lovely clean cafe/restaurant. Super friendly service, great food. We chose from classic breakfasts including veggie option. Loads more on the menu. The sourdough bread was awesome.

First timer yesterday morning. Two of us, just for coffee. Excellent staff who obvs know how to welcome and make diners feel comfortable & at home. The cappuccino & latte were stand out in strength, flavour & with a velvety texture. So good that we ordered a second round. The deco is stylish and adds to the feeling that you could be in a Mediterranean bar.
We agreed to return next week for lunch from a varied menu which you can view online. First impressions are important and 2MT on the main road from Chelmsford to Roxwell won us over to return soon. Well have a more in-depth look at the menu next time.
2MT is part of a number of services available on the restaurant/café site. There is parking available.

Fantastic English breakfast best in Chelmsford by far, not the cheapest but worth it. Top quality ingredients used. We travel from Gt Baddow every Saturday and Sunday. Will try the Sunday roast one day. The any two comments I would make is the music can be a little too loud and is heavy rock music and smoking is allowed outside on the terrace, not good if you are eating and have the smell of smoke.

tasty full English (eggs,bacon,sausage,black pudding,hash brown and beans) and the eggs Benedict was generous in size , the ham was nice thick cut .
very friendly and attentive staff , nothing was to much - not even a XL flat white ( I know it’s not a real flat white but I needed the energy )
Will be returning when I visit Chelmsford ! Every time

I"ve been hearing good things about 2MT recently, so decided to go and see myself with my daughter.
The food was exceptional and the staff very friendly.
