The Green Dragon Inn

Today we visited this pub for the first time and we were very impressed. From the minute we arrived, the staff were all extremely friendly. The menu offers some great choices, we went for the fish finger sandwich and Salami panini as we were visiting for lunch- we also shared a bowl of chips. The food was all delicious! We then shared a lotus cheesecake and it was incredible. The staff continued to be very friendly, helpful and attentive and made our visit very enjoyable. We will definitely visit again when we are next in the area!

Cute pub in the middle of nowhere. We wandered in looking for a drink and something small to eat. They had a good selection of food. I was however rather disappointed with their halloumi started - it was more leaves and garnish than halloumi, which left me wandering if they had at that point ran out of halloumi and so attempted to cut up the slices into strips. That dish was definitely not worth the money. The service was good. And there was a nice fire going.

I've been to several pubs during my trip to England. The Green Dragon is definitely my favorite so far. The food is superb and the atmosphere is welcoming and old English. My wife and I shared the Fish and Chips along with the burger. Both were very delicious and the desert of Chocolate strawberry pudding ended our meal in an exceptionally grand treat. For those of you that enjoy the suds, there are a large variety of beers on tap.

We turned up five minutes before last lunch orders, extremely hungry and they couldn't have been more welcoming and happy to serve us. Food was so tasty and all the staff were lovely. Would absolutely recommend this place if you are passing through for lunch. We took our seven month old, they had a high chair for us and baby changing available.

I had a fantastic experience at the Green Dragon Pub! The friendly service made me feel right at home, and their chicken Caesar salad was absolutely delicious. The crispy lettuce, perfectly grilled chicken, and creamy dressing were a match made in heaven. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, wonderful place. Back for a family get-together meal after having our wedding reception here many years ago. The function room where we were entertained is gone and is now a fairly standard farm style shop (photos on Google might need updating to reflect the change?). We were the booking from hell, changing our numbers a couple of times and some arriving late which delayed us sitting down to eat but the staff were patient and helpful throughout. The food was delicious and good value, catering for all our tastes. The service was friendly and responsive. Far from a chain eatery experience. Beautiful sitting outside afterwards with the birdsong. We won't wait so long to come back again next time!

A regular haunt! The Green Dragon Inn Pub & Shop has a piece of my heart. A warm fire welcomes you when you arrive, friendly and approachable staff are always happy to help. With various places to dine throughout the property there's a cosy corner for everyone. Ample outdoor seating with parasols is perfect for summer drinks. The shop is beautifully laid out, with local produce and homegrown fruit and vegetables. With the biggest onions I've ever seen! I love this place with it's close proximity to the forest. Just be careful when arriving as there are some very sharp blind bends that some people speed down.
