Can’t honestly say I like the new layout it’s muddled and doesn’t flow.
Just a battered sausage and chips which were both excellent and nicely fried.

Travelling on the road for work and gigs, you can't beat a good fish and chips, especially when it's cold out there. Cheltenham and Gloucester have a fair number of chippies but when out that way, this is the one I generally return to. More of a traditional chippy with pickled onion too, unpretentious with friendly staff, not over done but still crispy battered cod and fluffy chips which are never oily. Bonus, especially for the Cheltenham area is parking is free from 6.30pm in nearby car park or street and had a small eating-in area.

This place was great! Came recommended by a coworker and I'm glad I went. Was promptly greeted by friendly staff and the food was ready in minutes. Crispy, delicious fish and thick chips. They even asked if I wanted malt vinegar, which I happily accepted. They had a few tables in the back so I ate there. Highly recommend stopping by!

I picked this place because I could practically park my motability car right outside the front door. I went in and got served rather quickly. Food was lovely. Proper fish and chips.

Situated on Bath Road, The Big Fish is arguably the best chip shop in Cheltenham. It’s location is ideal as it’s 10 mins walk away from the high street. Staff are really welcoming, continuing the warmth that customers are used to getting from Nick, the owner of the chip shop!

I'd say it is probably the best chippy in town. The milkshakes are also great. And the curry sauce is really nice. I tend to choose this chippy over the others in Cheltenham. Good service and tends to be quite quick.
I've also ordered it through Deliveroo a few times and its always good.
The curry sauce they make is very good! Must try.
