Tried out this lovely Thai restaurant and was not disappointed. The place was buzzing and once you taste the food you can see why. It's very popular for good reason so book in advance if you can. We rang on a Friday and they had a table for 8.15 which isn't too bad. The tastes and flavours were exquisite. I'm new to Thai food but will definitely try it more often. Top notch.

First giggling squid I’ve been to and I’ll be happy to visit again or another branch. The decor was beautiful, staff were lovely with good sense of humour. Very much enjoyed our refreshing cocktails and food. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly it filled up around us, somewhat lucky we got a table walking in.

I had a rare night out with my wife and we were extremely pleased we chose the Giggling Squid to spend the evening. The service was fabulous, really friendly and helpful staff and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food. I look forward to my next visit!

An extremely busy evening and service was slow. Servers were attentive and maintained communication concerning the delays throughout. Food very good and authentic (beware it is hot and spicy)! Reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in Cheltenham. If you crave some real Thai flavours then this is great.

I have to say that this is one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. From the minute we booked our table it was clear this is a very well run establishment. The minute we showed up, they remembered my face and took us to our table. We were then given cold water as a courtesy, which remained topped up for our entire stay. It's amazing how many restaurants don't even provide water. The menu itself was full of choice and each dish we had delicious. We loved the cashew stir fry and the spring rolls are the best we've ever tasted. I'd love to sample some other dishes in the future, I just hope the Brighton branch is as good as the Cheltenham one. It's really hard to find any faults with The Giggling Squid Cheltenham. It's well decorated, clean and efficient. The staff seem happy and organized, as well as being very helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Butterfly Prawn Pad Thai Noodles was DELICIOUS and the prawns are juicy and big. Salt & Pepper squid to start was massive and out of this world! Been twice recently and ordered both the same things twice. I also had the Lemongrass Chicken and Prawn salad WOW. Again prawns are massive and juicy and the flavour combination is beautiful. Great with a side of coconut rice!

Everything you would expect from a Thai place. It's really good quality food, most of it has a little spice in it. I had the royal seafood curry and was not disappointed. Salmon (large portion), squid, muscles, prawns in a tasty curry. I had a side of bok choi & tenderstem, which was also very tasty. My wife had the dumplings which were also good. They even do nice deserts here. I had the trio of deserts and also the mango cake and all of them were delicious. After 6pm it's free to park outside on the street and we found parking easy enough.

It’s a very pretty, nicely decorated restaurant. The staff were friendly and topped our water up without being asked which I thought was a nice touch. The service was very quick, orders taken quickly and food followed quickly. One negative was the music was far too loud. The menu is broad, so plenty of choice to suit most people’s tastes. The food was delicious but be warned, even dishes with no ‘chilli’ indicating that it should not be spicy, were still spicy so if you’re no good with spicy food be very careful what you order. Very reasonably priced and would definitely go back

What a lovely spot! The food was incredible, so delicious - the vegan pad thai made me feel like I was back in Thailand 🍜 We went for a friend's birthday celebration and they very kindly did a cute dessert for her, so sweet, thank you! Will definitely be coming back 🌱

The best cocktails I’ve ever had - how come you guys don’t turn into a cocktail bar by night?! we’ve only had takeaway food from here so far which tasted lovely too. Special thank you to the lovely waitress Paula - please pass our praises to her, incredibly professional, attentive and friendly waitress who made our evening fantastic. Will be back!
