Beautiful egg, bacon and sausage bap. Really enjoyed the food here. Gutted I was too full from my breakfast and didn’t try any of the lovely looks cakes they had available! Would definitely recommend

This was our second visit to Lucy’s. Comparing it to the other competitors on and around Bath Road this is much better. The decor is kitschy but the food is worth the visit. Always have a lovely breakfast which costs less than the other Bath Road “hip” cafes. Always have excellent service and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I’ve always had clean tables, floors and cutlery and will always head there over the alternatives.

If you are looking for somewhere warm and sunny, Lucy’s is great. The heating is on full blast, and the whole cafe gets the morning sun. There are tables and chairs at the front, but it is a very busy road, so I personally wouldn’t want to sit there. The food and drink selections are all fine. Nothing special, and my croissant was under cooked. The decor is dated and very unfashionable; fake flowers, and ‘live laugh love’ style signage everywhere. The place has a very old fashioned, boring, unpolished feel. It attracts old ladies, and the music went from the saddest compilation of frank sinatra I’ve ever heard, to Michael buble. It was quite depressing. Lots of far more interesting competition, I won’t be back.

Walked through the door and was greeted by a dirty floor (Food Everywhere). If the floor is dirty then what is the rest of this place like? We walked straight back out again and went elsewhere.

We usually use another establishment in the Bath Road but thought we would try here. We walked inside and the first thing i notice was the absolutely filthy floor, it was disgusting, tables that were empty were still filled with cups/plates etc and it totally put us off as lunchtime rush hadnt even started, we returned to our usual place.

Love Lucy’s, always feel welcome and the food is of great quality, whether having a breakfast, choosing a home made cake or grabbing a great tasting coffee. If you are in the area then you must drop in and grab some great food.

We were heading in a different direction but stumbled back into this cafe for breakfast last week. It was such a warm, inviting place. We had the veggie breakfast and mushroom option. This place does dairy alternatives which is great for my kids who love hot chocolate with oat milk. The staff are friendly but professional and efficient at the same time. I’d come here over and over again. Please don’t change anything about this place. It’s perfect the way it is! Oh and a definite plus - they serve bolo de arroz which is nice to see, when you’re away from home!

A random pick on a day we just fancied a cooked breakfast.. and we happened across Lucy’s on the way into town. First timers here, we’re very pleased with the warm welcome, the service, and the food, a (nearly) full English and cooked very well and was not a spot of grease or fat on the plate when the food arrived... so appealing and tasty I didn’t take a before picture, I just tucked in... but here’s my after picture 😊. And, super hot illy coffee as requested, not the tepid luke warm stuff most cafes serve. 4 stars as I do like black pudding and it’s not on offer here... recommended and we would comeback when passing..

There are lots of coffee shops along the Bath Road and this is one of our absolute favourites! We were here for breakfast. If you are here foe lunch, do ask about their homemade pasta special. The ones we have had are fabulous! Delicious breakfast was enjoyed by the four of us, sitting outside in the sunshine, watching the world go by!

Looking for a decent coffee whilst travelling through Cheltenham. I spotted this cafe whilst crawling along in the traffic and then a car pulled out and left a space at the kerb right outside Lucy’s. This was fate. Amazing bacon bap and Illy coffee all for £4.95 The cakes and the other breakfasts on offer also looked fabulous.

My husband fancied a traditional English and we decided to try Lucy’s café as we had to go to Bath road. We had previously been unimpressed by a well known competitor so decided to give Lucy’s café a try. We are so glad we did! I had the most delicious smashed avocado breakfast with perfectly poached eggs. My husband described his traditional English as the most ‘healthy’ tasting he’s ever had without losing flavour/tastiness! The people who run it are lovely and will definitely be our place of choice when we fancy breakfast out.

Lucy's is situated in the busy Bath Road area of Cheltenham. It is run by excellent people and serves a variety of breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea options. There is a small outside seating area which is a 'sun trap'. Always a smile and very good quality

I am not local to Cheltenham but stumbled across this little gem whilst looking for a quick lunch last week, I was so impressed the first time, I returned today and was certainly not disappointed. Fantastic service and food.

Best eggs royale I have ever had, so much attention to detail, the hot chocolate is to die for too, plus fairly priced, a wonderful brunch :-)

A lovely cafe, the breakfast and the coffee were excellent. The staff were friendly. Had I had room, they’ve got a great selection of handmade cakes. Will definitely go again.

This little coffee shop is a great place for a good cup of coffee. Staff are super friendly and helpful. For some reason not that busy so easy to get a seat. Make the most of it whilst that remains the case . Hope it gains the popularity it deserves .
