Went there friday with some mates, great service staff was friendly, drinks were nice and arrived quite quickly 5-10 minutes from ordering them despite being busy, overall was good for a first time being in there

Have a breakfast every Friday so as I was in Cheltenham I gave the moon under the water a go. The service was great and the breakfast was lovely. Had been working in Bristol the last six months and went to the knights templar.. Also a wetherspoons but even though the service was great the breakfast wasn't. So well done moon under the water.. You're doing something right 👍

Usual great Spoons value. Speedy service with the app. Nice enough food. Some noisy punters in there who feel their conversation needs to be audible to the whole pub. Not the pub’s fault directly. Why do people do that?

Decent weatherspoons, don't let the fact it's in Cheltenham deceive you, this place is full of sweethearts and salt-of-the-earth types. You just know the blokes in there have been in their usual spot since 11am and won't be moving until they've had their fair share. It's the sort of place you go to read the latest copy of The Sun and remember how things used to be better, way back when. Surrounded by more modern bars, pubs and clubs in the bustling heart of Cheltenham, this is a place that shuns the new norm and sticks to what it knows best... decent ale on the cusp of the use-by date and food that can be reheated in 2 minutes or less. Simply splendid, wouldn't change a thing.

Lovely atmosphere, decent vegan breakfast, classic Wetherspoon's pub grub. Grilled tomatos were chilled but other than that pretty solid.

Wetherspoons #88 pleasant pub, only downside was having to run the gauntlet of smokers within the entrance! Unusual decorations on the ceiling.
