For Cods Sake

I’ve just moved to Cheltenham from north London where I lived 100 yards from the best fish and chip shop in the country in my view (Toffs of Muswell Hill). I have been astonished that a place like Cheltenham hasn’t got a really good quality fish and chip shop. I have tried them all in Cheltenham and this is by far the best in terms of fish quality (white, chunky, not overcooked) and chips (large chips, brown and slightly crisp and not overcooked so still moist inside). Also large portions of both - so excellent value too. Forget Simpsons and even the Big Fish and head down here. Highly recommended. I’ll be back.

Good takeaway place. Food was fresh, customer service was excellent, and waiting time was short. Portion sizes are generous. The taste was good, better than some of the places in Cheltenham but still a bit away from a few of the best ones. Overall a good experience which you won't regret. I can highly recommend it.

Very helpful, phoned just before closing as I thought I might be a minute or two late and explained that I’m a wheelchair user and asked if he could bring food out to car for me. Wasn’t a problem. Brought out food to save me getting chair in and out of car and said would do the same anytime. These are the takeaways I like to deal with. Thanks
