Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch Roast, photos don’t do it justice. Half a roast chicken with the most tasty seasoned veg. Plenty of gravy as well as spare and sauces if you like. Was pleasantly surprised! Staff were nice too. …

Six of us had an amazing Sunday lunch yesterday - food was outstanding (thank you to the new chef Tom Rains & his team) and we were wonderfully served by Grace & Abbey whom were so attentive & friendly. Great to have Richard back managing this beautiful pub. Highly recommend.

Nice enough but £32 for 2 lagers and 2 wines! Ouch. Just an ordinary IPA and a Hawkstone on tap and two proseccos. No wonder pubs are shutting. Aren’t pubs meant to display prices by law? I have yet to find a pub that does this. Would you …

Nice local pub with a good selection of beers. Even had a group of people do a play which lifted the atmosphere of the pub. Would definitely recommend
