Cinnamon Club Indian Brasserie

The best Indian food in town is here, and they're open late. Cinnamon Club has a great selection of dishes to choose from: samosa, paneer tikka (cooked cottage cheese), lamb cutlets and love the classic tandoori chicken. If you love spicy foods then their chicken Tikas will not disappoint. Over Melbourne Lockdown, we ordered several times as we love their food and delivery was always fast 👏🏼

The food was warmish although tasted okay. We booked the $45 banquet for 12 ppl but after waiting for 40mins we discovered that we should help ourselves to the buffet. The restaurant had run out of the first wine requested, however the waitress was helpful in not recommending a particular bottle which must have been quite cheap. Most of the wine on offer sells for $10-12 at a bottle shop. Overall the food is not memorable (which many buffets are not) and the service lacking considering we were not advised that the banquet would not be served. If your looking for something more than an ordinary buffet then I recommend you go elsewhere.

The food came quickly. I couldnt make up my mind so got the vegie pack- the pakora were from so long ago seriously inedible like couldnt even bite into them they were so hard. Old soggy papery pappad, the korma had no flavour. Carrot pudding was without any added nuts or interesting fruit just ghee soaked carrots. I am pretty sure the food was from the day before cant think of any other way to explain it. The eggplant curry was really nice.
