Absolutely LOVED this cafe today! A coffee shop a day within my 5k to support our local businesses had yet another recommendation for me to visit and it was definitely well worth the short drive to ROSE & CLIVE in Cheltenham!
What a fantastic couple Txiki and Kate are and I just love the story behind this business. Kate’s grandmother Rose used to live around the corner and ride her bicycle (now on display inside) around the Bayside area. Where one day in the 1940’s she met a homeless and hungry Clive at Sandringham beach and invited him to live in her garage. They kept each other company for many years, without Clive ever speaking a word.
The food here is absolutely incredible not to mention the coffee and Friday nights are a must do when the menu represents a different country each week!
Please call in a say hi to Txiki and Kate and give them your custom during these tough times.

This is my favourite place. I love that the people here are so friendly, the food it so good. Full of flavour and has dared to be different to every other cafe. The chilli scramble is extraordinary so full of amazing flavour and texture. The crepes are the best with home made jam. The pies Kate makes will blow you away, that home made pastry is phenomenal. Last week I had the shepherds pie which I wouldn't usually go for and let's just say I have been dreaming about it ever since. Oh and don't get me started on the coffee... it is fantastic.

This is a hidden gem and the food is great however they keep taking things off the menu. Nothing worse waking up and craving “Japanese eggs” to get there and find they no longer do them!
Please stop changing your menu!

Such a cute cafe! The decor was lovely and there was lots of space to sit inside and outside! So many options on the menu to chose from! The DIY fairy bread was such a cute idea and definitely children friendly to keep them entertained as well. The special avocado dish was absolutely delicious and the coating of seaweed and sesame was amazing. The avo was perfectly ripe and was devine. The dill was a lovely addition that added so much more flavour to this dish! Could not recommend this dish enough!!! The French toast was the perfect sweet dish. The whipped ricotta cut through the sweetness and added balance to this dish. The fresh fruit was generous and delicious. Everything about this sweet dish worked to well together! The two drinks were amazing. The OJ carnita was fresh and so flavoursome!! Perfect for a hot day!

This is truly a great place to visit, have a coffee or meal, had a conversation and enjoy the light and freshness of this warehouse turned coffee.
Warning: some dishes contain the evil coriander.... nevertheless my chilli scrambled eggs was delicious. The Kombi is great and I will come back. The music was very good.

A little out of the way cafe with a cool vibe and delicious food. Was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine. Worth noting that parking in the area can be a bit hectic.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! All the food is AMAZING, I’m never disappointed (only during lockdown as it’s not in my 5km) Definitely one of the bayside gems...the carrot cake and brownies don’t last a minute in our house...

Nice place. I loved the old dishes. Ordered the mushroom bay and didn’t finish it . Great coffee though.
