Bangkok - Thai Restaurant

The staff were lovely and felt overall the service although at some points slow it was ok. The Tom ka soup was really lovely and had a nice kick to it. However, pad Thai on the other hand was very bland, and was not good sadly. The chicken was still very juicy and the other dishes specifically the green Thai curry was great. I think having some extra condiments on the table such as fish sauce could have helped. Also it will be even better if they offer thai milk tea. The toilets were clean and the overall atmosphere was nice. The second floor also felt very dark and could have been a bit more lively.

Beautiful clean restaurant, staff are lovely, service is great, reasonably priced food and it came out quickly. The dishes were good, but I have to say it was all rather mild - not too much chili or fish sauce, and so on - as if toning it down a bit for the British public. I am sure people could handle a proper spicy red curry.. or perhaps it would be better to ask people at the table if they want it hot? No condiments with the Pad Thai (fish sauce, sugar, chili, etc) which makes a such big difference to the dish. Overall, nice meal and will be going again.

Excellent experience last night there. Lovely designed interior with a calm and relaxing vibe. Fantastic superior service - extremely friendly female server. Had the sweet and sour chicken - delicious! Also had the veggie pad Thai - which was good - but I’ve honestly had many better pad Thais before. Thought it could have used more flavor. Also had another dish which I can’t recall the name of, but it was delicious. Finished it off with sticky toffee pudding (not very Thai), but FANTASTIC! Was warm and served with ice cream. Have it! I would definitely come back if I lived closer. ☺️☺️

Great food, however the service is inconsistent. Our drinks and soups were forgotten, and we were blamed for not receiving either of them. I gave 4 stars for the service and not 3 because they did turn it around in the end. The atmosphere upstairs is very depressing and it's freezing. I appreciate they got us at the last minute, but if you're not offering the same level of service then don't bother, it will ruin the experience for customers and it'll only go against you.

Best Thai in Cheltenham by far! I grew up in Southeast Asia and have been to Thailand over 15 times, and I can say that the food we had at this restaurant was as authentic as it gets! Papaya salad was perfect, as was the massaman and jungle curry. The waiters even accommodated go our spice requirements and made both dishes more spicy that initially advertised. The service was great - the lady who served us was smiley, funny and attentive. I ordered a pot of jasmine tea, and got a full cup of tea + full pot on order; it’s the little things that set great establishments from the average. Overall amazing ambience, we will definitely be back again.

First time in Cheltenham and was looking for a Thai place for dinner - first went into the The Vine but was ignored so went up the road and found this restaurant. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted, warmly welcomed, and seated at a lovely table for one. The ambience and decor is just splendid here and there's a feeling if unpretentious class so I didn't feel uncomfortable not having dressed up. Tom yum soup for starter with plump mushrooms and a generous serving of 5 king prawns. The broth was spicy and hot which was surprisingly refreshing. The tofu Pad Thai for mains was filling, piping hot and well cooked. Compliments to the chef. I heard a number of other diners praising their meals too. And one of the customers when leaving hugged the lady host... The whole place has such a lovely feel to it. Highly recommended.

Incredible experience, wonderful service and even better food!! I've been here twice since the refurb and both times have exceeded expectations. All of the staff are super welcoming and chatty. Every dish was super tasty- definitely the best Thai I've had in and around Cheltenham. My second visit was on my birthday and the team went above and beyond to make it a special night, going as far to adding decorations to our table and even a birthday cake. Cannot thank you all enough for a perfect birthday celebration and will be recommending you to as many people as possible. Many thanks Rachel
