The Pepper Mill

A very welcome place. We came as a big group (16) and this was no challenge for them. The staff soon whipped round requesting drinks orders and then the pre-ordered starters came flying out. Once done the next course was en route, with the speedy service this was not to turn table but to ensure we all had food at (around) the same time and could eat together, this was very well organised by a young man who commanding presents was that of a season restaurateur, very impressive (but with no name tag I don't know your name). Very very well priced meals and some reasonably decent drinks to boot. Well done team and it going.

Four of us has a wonderful meal last night for our first visit of The Pepper Mill. Staff were responsive, friendly, personable, and helpful. Food was beyond my expectations: fall-off-the-bone, meaty ribs covered with delicious and generous BBQ sauce. Good sized portion. Came with some nice fries and was happy with my side of onion rings; not greasy and satisfying. Others I was with had the pizza which was homemade and quickly devoured. Topped it off with a Lotus Biscoff cheesecake that is a must-have! One of my first meals in Chepstow and I expect I will be coming back with friends and family in the future! Felt safe with the COVID precautions and were not too close to any other table. Looking forward to my next visit already!
