Lovely traditional pub. Welcoming, helpful staff. Small, original menu. We were a party of four and all had something different. All agreed food was delicious. Beer was great too. We will definitely return when next in the area. I have never awarded 5 stars before. I couldn't fault it. Very happy
Second time I have been to this pub and I have to say everything has been topnotch. Going out from Exeter and trying new places this is definitely top of the list. The food is exceptional and the service is second to none would highly recommend will definitely be back

Fantastic food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. We had dinner and were blown away. Food that makes you go wow that's amazing. The chocolate dessert may well be the best thing my wife has ever eaten. We are going back.

Really good food. The oyster mushroom rice was good but the courgette sabzi was genuinely incredible...one of the best curries I've eaten..and I'm Indian!
So happy to have found a place like this nearby. Came today for lunch and all the food was amazing - sharing mezze starter, followed by incredible sea bass main and a sticky toffee pudding. Great food with an imaginative combination of ingredients (equally delicious wine on offer). People and dog friendly. We were lucky as there was live music too. Worth a visit!

This is a brilliant example of a lovely pub. tight but interesting menu (not too much choice), good wine list, great staff/ friendly yet efficient service and fabulous food. Honest hospitality at its very best. An absolute must visit

Absolutely outstanding food, great service with a buzzing atmosphere.
Ridiculously good!! The food was amazing, great choice and tasted beautiful. Very good value too. Staff were lovely. Dogs allowed throughout. Back garden set up is good too. Would definitely come again if in the area
