This place is absolutely delicious! Portion sizes are fair and they are definitely enough! The staff are always young and energetic and that's wonderful to see! I highly recommend this place it's bloody brilliant!

Great cook, very friendly as my son has allergies. Clean and sparkling. Friendly staff esp the students. Wonderful. Recommend scampi. Mozzarella sticks and ALL fish.

From out of town and always skeptical were I eat. Rang and spoke if they cater to my dietary requirements because I don’t like cross contamination chef could accommodate so had Fish and chips were delicious. Was made to order. Fresh tasty and decent price.

Visiting from Birmingham, and ordered Jumbo Battered Sausage, Chips and Curry Sauce. Every item was excellent, far better than anything available in my home city and can't wait to come back for the food alone. Best meal for a very long time, well done.

My 1st visit for over 2 years. Food cooked freshly with nice crispy batter on the fish. Food not too oily and well packaged and was still hot when I got home. No problems in the shop, staff very friendly and helpful.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. I have never ordered a gluten free meal anywhere for my son. After answering all my questions and putting my mind at ease my son enjoyed every mouthful of his meal.
I can't recommend The Plaice to Be enough
