Incredible takeaway roast dinners. The chicken was juicy, tons of gravy, and I don't know what you put in that mash but oh lord! We will definitely be ordering again next time we're up.
First time visiting. It was a Monday evening so obviously quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was good - I had olives and bread to start, my partner had soup of the day. The olives were underwhelming but still decent with lovely toasted bread drizzled with a tasty basil oil. For main course my partner had a burger and I had chicken with onions and mushrooms. The chicken was moist, well seasoned and the onions and mushrooms were nicely cooked, if a little oily, but had lots of flavour.
We really enjoyed our evening, the atmosphere was lovely and will be back 😁
Lovely selection of meals which are very delicious. I enjoyed the Bosco, chicken, tomato and onion. I like that you can choose the pasta you want. The service was prompt and it didn't take long for the meals to arrive. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. I have been coming to this restaurant for a while now and the meal quality has never changed. Food is always lovely and potion sizes are perfect, not to large and not too small.
Went for an evening meal with a couple of friends. Staff friendly, food lovely, restaurant is clean. Only reason for 4 stars is staff just automatically kept the change from my bill as a tip. It was £16 which is a lot to assume. We had to ask for the change back and they had no idea how much it was, which also seemed strange. Other than that, nice local restaurant and I will return.
On a separate note, the Sunday dinner is delicious. Portions are huge and you get loads of meat! We get a Sunday dinner delivered quite regularly.
We were a party of 7, who loved our first time at this restaurant. It was a Saturday night, so the place was jam packed & very noisy, which meant our food did take quite a while to arrive, but it was understandable. The bill for 7 starters & 6 mains, came to just over £150. This amount was minus the drinks, as we got them ourselves from the bar. Fantastic night, with tasty, good quality food. Loved it.......
Lunchtime set menu is a bargain. We had 2 courses for 2 people with an alcoholic drink each for £23. The food was well presented and very tasty. I asked for changes to be made to the starter and it was no problem. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Spot on! Happy hour prices for quality food. Busy, but that didn't slow down the service at all.
Easy to book a table via their website, situated within walking distance from a choice of car parks (St Mary's is free after 6!) at the top of CLS near the hospital.
Staff were friendly from arrival to departure. Food was well presented, decent sized portions and all for good value. I had the carbonara pasta (penne, you get a choice) which was one of the nicest I've had, followed by a brownie for dessert (the dessert menu is on a small chalk board), which came with ice cream and went down very well...
It's a nice sized, clean & tidy restaurant with comfortable seats.
Won't hesitate to come back here!

Ordered takeaway. One dish not on menu but they made it specially. Food was delivered within 30
