Really nice location and beautiful pub. The toilets are defo worth a visit. We had the vegan veg parcel in miso broth (see photo) for staters - stunning! It was very well presented and tasted delicious. It was also very refreshing to have a different option for a starter rather than the standard options. The main course was also very staty - veg paella and a lentil, cauliflower, and spinach curried pie. We were really impressed with having something different to chose from as vegans.The staff were really lovely and provided great service

I’ve eaten here many times over the last few years. Always good lively atmosphere in the main bar, quieter in the other dining rooms. Food is generally high quality, though today the crispy beef salad disappointed with a rather small serving size compared to the last time I ordered the same dish.

Been to a few establishments managed by Brunning & Price and this is one of the best. Is always busy though so make sure to book. Food and service were very good and atmosphere was buzzing but not too distracting. Might be different if full of drunk racegoers but that's only speculation not fact. Really enjoyed our meal!

Great location and friendly staff! It’s the perfect place for some afternoon lunch. Word of warning if you drive in, don’t make the same mistake as me and turn into the abode parking, it’s the next left after the abode. It was no fun to drive out of 😂

First time in here. The serving staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. We had fish and chips. Very light and crispy batter, not greasy. Drinks a reasonable price. It was a very noisy noisy atmosphere especially when the guests came in from the garden (which closed at 9pm). All in all though, a lovely place!!

Great place to eat just opposite the race course, lots of outdoor seating ideal for sunny months. Dogs are also welcome 🐶

My first time trying this place and I absolutely loved it. Good ambience, fabulous friendly staff, very attentive. Very good value for money and food was excellent. I will be returning.
