Excellent venue, great choice of both food and drink, dog friendly. Free doggy dinner if you order a roast dinner. Welcomed our 3 month old Doberman puppy, Bram, on his first visit to Chester.
The bar staff are fantastic here. Celebrating our marriage and we’re given free shots. Shout out to Stew and (Scottish) Jemma and Freya
A very cool bar we chanced upon due to them having a beer garden. Bar staff were super friendly and had a massive selection of spirits and draught. Dog friendly (as most of Chester seems to be) only adds to the experience. Definitely will visit again in the future!

Really like this bar, cool decor, the staff are all helpful and lovely. Cool and large variety of beers available! The menu is fairly small but full of lots of things I love, we had the sharing board and the haloumi fries were AMAZING!! Highly recommend this bar ☺️
The kerb appeal is very good with plants and large windows. Quite welcoming as you enter to the sound of live music. The bar area is enticing with lots of choice of ales and cider. The staff were very welcoming and happy to help. The atmosphere was great with baseball on the tv. Seems down to earth
It's Westie friendly, has a good selection of beers, cider and the food menu is rather tasty 😋
Highly recommend this place for a night out, amazing atmosphere here and the staff were great. Also it was nice to see a different variety of drinks here. Although we didn't use it on this visit, there is a ping pong table out back in the garden area.

Me and some friends came in for a comedy night! It was a free event and we had so much fun! Great variety of drink, good food, amazing atmosphere! Although small looking, plenty of seats to sit! One of our favourite places to come and chill with friends.
Commonhall St Social is a great bar with excellent food as well. There is a great vibe and well worth a visit. The staff and really friendly and it has a lovely relaxed feel. The music is fantastic too.
Cool bar in Chester friendly staff good drinks selection and outside space at the rear is great with ping pong and table football and covered seating areas
Good pub bar with decent vibe. 3 areas including large terrace with ping pong and top dance floor. The craft beer was great.

Cute little place with amazing decor and a great selection of beers. The staff were really friendly. The menu had a lot of delicious options with the salt and pepper fries being the standout choice.
