Excellent venue, great choice of both food and drink, dog friendly. Free doggy dinner if you order a roast dinner. Welcomed our 3 month old Doberman puppy, Bram, on his first visit to Chester.

Amazing experience in the heart of Chester. Full of character extensive range of beers/ largers etc. Varied menu tapas style. Most importantly Dog Friendly

A very cool bar we chanced upon due to them having a beer garden. Bar staff were super friendly and had a massive selection of spirits and draught. Dog friendly (as most of Chester seems to be) only adds to the experience. Definitely will visit again in the future!

It's Westie friendly, has a good selection of beers, cider and the food menu is rather tasty 😋

The kerb appeal is very good with plants and large windows. Quite welcoming as you enter to the sound of live music. The bar area is enticing with lots of choice of ales and cider. The staff were very welcoming and happy to help. The atmosphere was great with baseball on the tv. Seems down to earth and easy going place.

Commonhall St Social is a great bar with excellent food as well. There is a great vibe and well worth a visit. The staff and really friendly and it has a lovely relaxed feel. The music is fantastic too.

Highly recommend this place for a night out, amazing atmosphere here and the staff were great. Also it was nice to see a different variety of drinks here. Although we didn't use it on this visit, there is a ping pong table out back in the garden area.
