Very nice friendly staff who were eager to help. It was a very busy August Bank as you can imagine but we were promptly shown to our table drinks and papadoom order were taken and served straight, however it did take us (2 adults and 4 children) to make our minds on what to order as there so much to choose from and they all seemed nice. We settled for onion bhaji, lamb chops, king prawn starter and Murgh tikka for starters and the kids demolished the lamb chops and King prawn like they hadn't eaten for a few days 🙈 onion bhaji were really nice as rather than give 2 big bhaji they gave 4 small one which were nice and crispy (we didn't take pictures of starters are like I said they were demolished within seconds) for main we chose lamb handi (lamb chops curry) stir fry chicken (bit like a jalfrezi) lamb tika biryani, prawn bhuna and chicken tika shashlick, mushroom rice, chips and of course their famous huge family naan. For drink we ordered 2 pints of coke, 2 pints lemonade and 2 appletizers and to be honest the lemonade and coke were flat but when we ordered it again later on(they seemed busy so didnt mentioned it to them) they were ok. We loved it so much that we took the left overs home with us. To end the night they gave us very hot hot towels and signature mint chocolate.

Food was excellent. The Paneer Tikka was one of the best I have had. My wife required food without onion, garlic and potatoes and the server worked with the chef to customize a dish for her. It was really nice to see the restaurant accommodating her request. Ambience is good too.

Really good food though portions are perhaps a tad on the small size. One star knocked off because we asked for a mild curry and were given a spicy one instead. We sent it back and received a milder one without a problem. However, when you go out with friends, it's nice to eat together.

Positive experience. 100% pre-book if going on a Saturday night. The family naan bread is huge and worth getting if 3 or more are eating. The service was very good. Almost a little quick if honest.
The atmosphere was lively and quite loud at times with big parties etc.
Lost a star as no one came to check if the food was ok after service and the bill was brought to us without asking so felt a little rushed to leave.
I would recommend here.

Fantastic curry experience "elephant ear" garlic naan bread was simply delicious - this evening we had Hyderabad Ghosht - outstanding

Don't get what the recent negative reviews are all about (competitive rivalry from near by Indian restaurants?) We went 27th September and all 4 of us thought the food was great, best Indian meal we have had in a long time and would highly recommend.

We have visited this restaurant before and we vowed to go back. Again a fantastic experience with great staff who went out of there way. The restaurant is clean and the food is hot and your not sat there waiting ages. Thank you for another great meal. We will return again.

First visit, photos of the massive naan bread in other reviews tipped my curiosity. Visited whilst working in Chester l, fantastic restaurant, attentive service, delicious food. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent food and very good service all round.
I phones ahead to rmenquire about their gluten free options as I am celiac and they were all incredibly helpful and informative on what I could and couldn't eat.
Off memory, all of their curries are gluten free as they use corn flour instead of wheat flour.
Had a fantastic meal on confidence. Thank you.

Fantastic restaurant. Great service, great food. We booked in advance as we knew it would be very busy on a Saturday. Definitely worth a visit. Added a photo of the nann as there weren't enough on here 😉

I had consumed a few beers beforehand, but everyone commented on just how nice the overall experience was. The food was outstanding, the staff helpful and the location is perfect. Well done

We had a very enjoyable meal here. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh, tasty and one of the nicest Indian meals we’ve had on our holiday including from a few big establishments in London.

Absolutely exquisite food bursting with flavour layer after layer with each bite.
A big thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome and for your flawless service.

One of the best curries I've had in a very long time. I think it was called the Hyderbadi Lamb Gosht? Curry was exquisite, nan bread served as fresh as it could be, straight from the oven. Crisp, fresh poppadoms. Everything was top drawer. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the best curries we have had. Very busy but the service was superb and the waiters/waitresses were cheerful, helpful and courteous. They deserve a bonus for their lovely manner.
We will be booking to return there again asap.

Really great place, proper peahwari naans with the drippy honey. We just found it on google through reviews and took other people’s word for it and we were not disappointed! Very nice helpful staff who helped recommend two great dishes, one from the Himalayan specials section. Thanks for a great meal, highly recommended

Would highly recommend, had a delicious tasty meal on valentine night, lovely setting and was greeted at the door by guy in full Indian costume, staff were lovely and friendly, the service great and the icing on the cake was when leaving was given a valentine goody bag with small bottle prosecco love heart jellies and chocolates. The only downside is that we don't live nearer! 😁

We were in a group of 15, the bar bill wasn’t itemised just put into the overall pot which didn’t help. Recommend the food by the waiter which is don’t enjoy at all. First visit here and wouldn’t come back at all. The waiter was rude and arrogant when asked questions by women in our group.
