One of the best canal side pubs in Chester and very close to the town centre. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating and definitely go for outdoor seating given the weather is good. Staff is very friendly and so is the service. Reasonably priced food and beverages.

Nice little pub on the edge of town next to the canal. Plenty of seating outside/inside and a perfect place for lunch and a drink. Been here a bunch of times, but first time having food which was very tasty and extremely good value. Also dog friendly, which is a bonus.

Called in after google searching for a dog friendly pub/restaurant and was glad we did. Nice surroundings good friendly service and both meals were top notch pub food. A small menu that allows really good food to be served quickly. The chicken and bacon pie was amazing and the good lady wife said that the beef sunday lunch was quality and tasty, best she's had in a long time. The dog even enjoyed a few welcome scraps.

Loved it! Great dining areas inside or out, and is dog friendly. The staff were friendly and provided a bowl of water for our dog as well as plenty of pets. Price is very good for the quality and quantity of the food! Not only that but they have deals on every day of the week, myself and my girlfriend got a 2 for 1 burger and hotdog and I also ordered a side of pulled pork fries for a total of £19.50! It tasted of high quality restaurant food even for that cheap meal price for 2. We both ate so well that we probably won't need dinner! Very much recommend to those in the area looking for a nice meal with friends or family. 5/5 we'll be coming again for sure

Great location. Right besides the canal. Can’t go wrong on a beautiful sunny day. Didn’t eat but food looked good and prices reasonable.Outside beer garden . Friendly staff. Really busy. Walking distance from centre of Chester. Definitely go back to try the food and people watch .

Nice pub right on the canal side with a good food selection. Service was friendly and we were made to feel really welcomed. Had a Sunday lunch with starter which was £21 for 2 courses - well worth it. Dog friendly too 😊🐕

Booked a big table here for a family meal for my Dad’s birthday celebrations. Everything went really smoothly, nothing was too much trouble and all the food was lovely! Service was attentive, bar staff were great as were the people who served our food. Not a single complaint and we all had a great time. Thanks so much!!

Lovely spot on the canal. Enjoyed drinks & small plates in the sunshine a couple of times, while we were staying in Chester. Friendly staff & the food was delicious. I will make an effort to return next time I'm up there!

A nice place with a lovely outdoor deck seating with plenty of shade too. We were there midweek around 6pm, it was probably about 30% capacity, service was pleasant but slow (understaffed?). We had some appetizers and drinks.
