Only had a drink but food looked good so will definitely give it a go and the young manageress did really well with a guy who fell asleep standing at the bar no fuss just quiet word in his ear 😀

Food was very good and at a reasonable price, I had Sea Bream with potatoes which I enjoyed.
The beer was good but I struggled with the coffee, the Americano was a bit strong for me.
The staff were attentive to a pleasant level, it was pretty quiet ona Tuesday evening.

A lovely setting on the banks of the canal. Dog friendly inside and out. After a trip on the sightseeing bus this place is perfect for a lovely hot chocolate to warm yourself up.

A nice place with a lovely outdoor deck seating with plenty of shade too. We were there midweek around 6pm, it was probably about 30% capacity, service was pleasant but slow (understaffed?). We had some appetizers and drinks.

Loved it! Great dining areas inside or out, and is dog friendly.
The staff were friendly and provided a bowl of water for our dog as well as plenty of pets.
Price is very good for the quality and quantity of the food! Not only that but they have deals on every day of the week, myself and my girlfriend got a 2 for 1 burger and hotdog and I also ordered a side of pulled pork fries for a total of £19.50!
It tasted of high quality restaurant food even for that cheap meal price for 2.
We both ate so well that we probably won't need dinner!
Very much recommend to those in the area looking for a nice meal with friends or family.

Lovely spot on the canal. Enjoyed drinks & small plates in the sunshine a couple of times, while we were staying in Chester. Friendly staff & the food was delicious. I will make an effort to return next time I'm up there!

One of the best canal side pubs in Chester and very close to the town centre. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating and definitely go for outdoor seating given the weather is good. Staff is very friendly and so is the service. Reasonably priced food and beverages.

Nice little pub on the edge of town next to the canal. Plenty of seating outside/inside and a perfect place for lunch and a drink. Been here a bunch of times, but first time having food which was very tasty and extremely good value. Also dog friendly, which is a bonus.

Booked a big table here for a family meal for my Dad’s birthday celebrations. Everything went really smoothly, nothing was too much trouble and all the food was lovely! Service was attentive, bar staff were great as were the people who served our food. Not a single complaint and we all had a great time. Thanks so much!!
