One of the best canal side pubs in Chester and very close to the town centre. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating and definitely go for outdoor seating given the weather is good. Staff is very friendly and so is the service. Reasonably priced food and beverages.
Nice little pub on the edge of town next to the canal. Plenty of seating outside/inside and a perfect place for lunch and a drink. Been here a bunch of times, but first time having food which was very tasty and extremely good value. Also dog friendly, which is a bonus.

Great location. Right besides the canal. Can’t go wrong on a beautiful sunny day. Didn’t eat but food looked good and prices reasonable.Outside beer garden . Friendly staff. Really busy. Walking distance from centre of Chester. Definitely go back to try the food and people watch .
Nice pub right on the canal side with a good food selection. Service was friendly and we were made to feel really welcomed. Had a Sunday lunch with starter which was £21 for 2 courses - well worth it. Dog friendly too 😊🐕

Lovely spot on the canal. Enjoyed drinks & small plates in the sunshine a couple of times, while we were staying in Chester. Friendly staff & the food was delicious. I will make an effort to return next time I'm up there!
A nice place with a lovely outdoor deck seating with plenty of shade too. We were there midweek around 6pm, it was probably about 30% capacity, service was pleasant but slow (understaffed?). We had some appetizers and drinks.
Only had a drink but food looked good so will definitely give it a go and the young manageress did really well with a guy who fell asleep standing at the bar no fuss just quiet word in his ear 😀
Food was very good and at a reasonable price, I had Sea Bream with potatoes which I enjoyed.
The beer was good but I struggled with the coffee, the Americano was a bit strong for me.
The staff were attentive to a pleasant level, it was pretty quiet ona Tuesday evening.
This is a lovely pub for sitting outside on a sunny day. It is right on the banks of the canal and walking distance from the city centre.

Great food: the portions were enormous (which makes a nice change these days) which made it great value for money. Service was good, friendly and non-intrusive. Great location too. Highly recommended.

A lovely setting on the banks of the canal. Dog friendly inside and out. After a trip on the sightseeing bus this place is perfect for a lovely hot chocolate to warm yourself up.
No one was inside .. peeps sat outside with dogs on leads. It was still warm that evening. Place is perched near the canal and we were moored nearby in Chester. Staff came out to tell us that they were closing early as there was no one inside drinking or playing games. We drank up and thanked them
