Big place with nice spots for getting together. Pool, darts inside and large beer garden for adults, kids and dogs. Puts on a good food menu although we didn't participate this time. Bus stop close by if you don't want to drive. Two cask ales on (Timmy Taylor Landlord, Doom Bar).

had a table for 6 in the restaurant tonight, for my partners 50th birthday.
Claudia, was amazing serving drinks, food, bringing out the birthday cake, and making sure we were well looked after!

We organized a friend's birthday party at Rake & Pikel. Staff were very friendly, awesome ambience and great food. Their staff was very kind to make customised mocktails for some of our friends though they don't have mocktail menu. In totality we all had great time and kids also enjoyed thoroughly.

Nice large pub, plenty of outdoor seating, great own area for children to play on with slides etc. Plenty of indoor seating too, specific dining area is well decorated and looks quite pleasant. You can dive in the general bar area too, plenty of tables. Dog friendly pub with a games area. First visit, would happily return.
