Went for an unplanned lunch yesterday and was really surprised at how lovely the food was. We had vegetable soup and chicken and bacon ranch sandwich with latte, all homemade and tasted fresh. Definitely recommend and will be back to try cakes and other dishes for sure.

After a hot park run, we were craving some artisan brunch in beautiful Chester. We headed over to the New market and as we had a vegan in our party we were looking for some lovely homemade brunch and coffee that suited everyone. I was served by a lovely gentleman who made the best oat milk latte I have ever tried. I had an amazing avo, egg and cheese brioche breakfast that was yummy with every mouthful. My other halves meal was okay - just not as tasty as mine! Still, lovely service and will be back for another post run brunch date.
Enjoyed my avocado toast with egg! Juice was fresh and refreshing as well.
I had a delishes croissant with a gorgeous coffee. Would definitely recommend 👌
Wow... Looking for a coffee and a snack... Found Crustum in the indoor market. My wife ordered a soya cappuccino and I had an Americano. We also ordered the crushed avocado on soda bread toast with lemon and chili flakes and the vegan sausage with egg and began cheese brioche bun. I have too say my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. It was just fantastic and the coffee way better than any of the franchise places by a long mile.
Looking forward to another visit...
I’ve been visiting this gem in the Chester Market building for a while now, and thought that it was about time that I shared the experience.
I used to just have a coffee, then started having the odd sandwich, then the odd brunch. It’s got to the point where I look forward to seeing what the new brunch special is. There’s always a little twist that makes it interesting and worth a try. Add to that a home made soup of the day and other interesting options, plus fresh artisan bread and cakes, there is something for everybody.
Amazing! Visiting for the weekend and stopped for coffee and mince pies. They are so good we came back for more! Really friendly staff and amazing food.
Seriously THE best vegan food I’ve had in a long time! Had the breakfast sandwich and it was incredible! The vegan egg was so delicious 🤤
