Recently moved to the area. This gem was recommended to me.
Great location and great views over the river Dee and to the Welsh mountains.
The manager James is very welcoming and the staff are all great and customer focused.

We visited this great hydes pub on the outskirts of Chester 2 minutes from the Bluestone pub
This pub today served 6 good hydes ales on hand pump ant it had good staff working pleasent easy going atmosphere with nice local following

This is a great little pub with the best view in Chester overlooking a bend in the River Dee. It is friendly and has a good range of beers.

Lovely pub with well kept Hyde's ales, really well priced too, the best view in Chester they claim, I'm not going to argue with that but it wasn't the best viewing conditions when I visited, bit overcast and snowy!
Certainly worth the short walk from Chester city centre.
