It's a cute spot severely understaffed but they tried their best to accommodate everyone. I feel like it's a staple to that township as regulars seem to visit a lot. I would travel again if I'm in the area just to get a bite to eat the food smelled amazing my dish was served hot and tasty. I also loved the esthetic of the place seemed nice and cozy.

I had my very first taco ever here and it was delicious. Home-like atmosphere, friendly server and the food was amazing. Since visiting, I taught myself how to make the real street tacos at home. Even made some carnitas. Thank you for opening my eyes and taste buds to your delicious Mexican dishes! Will definitely visit again!

The food here is amazing! I got the chicken chimichanga and asked for peppers on it. It was so delicious. Ordered the guacamole for a starter, one of the best guacamole I've ever had. Was it worth $15, no. I didn't happen to notice the price for the guacamole before i ordered. If I had, I for sure wouldn't have ordered it. The inside of this place for sure needs help. I would go back, though. The man who waited on us was nice. I also have to say this charging to use a credit card is pure bologna!

This place is honestly delicious. We visited last night for my husband’s birthday, brought our dog and sat outside. We ordered guacamole, fajitas and shrimp tacos - all so good and even plated well. The shrimp on the tacos were seasoned perfectly. Service was attentive and so pleasant. Im glad we decided to go last night and we will absolutely be back.

The street tacos were delicious. My husband had the spicy pork and I had the steak. The steak was some of the best I’ve ever had. I loved that each taco had two tortillas. The presentation was attractive as well. If we are ever in the area again, we’ll definitely return.

Everyone should dine at the Aztec Authentic Mexican Restaurant! It has Mexican dishes for every palate: meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free/celiac disease diners alike. I love the owner thought to make a special gluten free menu, filled with options that people with celiac disease can eat. Even that menu includes vegetarian options, which is a hard combo to accommodate. The steak in the street tacos was juicy and well flavored. The chicken in the street tacos was nicely seasoned and very tasty. The fish came with fresh radish slices, green tomatillo sauce, and a lime for each taco. The tacos came topped with freshly washed chopped white onion and cleanly minced cilantro. Yum. I asked for more tomatillo sauce and the owner was generous in offering another serving. The rice was red/seasoned Mexican rice and the beans were black. The rice and beans combo side was very tasty, topped with white crumbly cheese for more dimension. Gluten eaters can enjoy the burrito, which came covered in a red sauce. Stuffed with meat, rice, beans, and cheese (I think that’s right), this dish is sure to be a fan favorite. Drinks were just as on point: Mexican Coke with sugar cane sugar and hibiscus/Jamaica with and without sugar — without sugar is hard to find and always what I get if I can. Rare treat to find it! The gluten free menu items are made safe and free of cross contamination. The chips are made in a separate fryer for gluten free only. And when the owner brought the chips out, he brought one for the gluten eaters and one for gluten free eaters. Top notch! I highly recommend this place if you’re in New Jersey, or if you’re driving by, add this to your itinerary for a tasty, filling meal.

Unexpected gem in Chester. Tried lunch this past week . The Chicken Chimichangas were delicious! Light, flaky crisp outer shell and fresh, ingredients on the inside. We liked it so much, we went back the next morning for breakfast! Authentic Huevos Rancheros were cooked to perfection. We also had 2 cups of their Aztec coffee (1 water brewed & 1 milk brewed). In my opinion, one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had! $5.99 per cup and worth it. It also had fresh grated cinnamon and cinnamon stick to add to the flavor. The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and prepared to order. Tortillas are delicious. I will be going back many times in the future. Family owned and operated, the owners are friendly and attentive to your dining needs. This is a BYOB restaurant and they even prepare virgin Mexican classic drinks, you just need bring your own alcohol to add. My recommendation is...if you want to go for breakfast, call ahead the day before to reserve a time & table. Hope this review was helpful! Enjoy!
