Jaunty Goat Coffee - Bakery

Jaunty Goat is a lovely coffee bar where you can sit outside on Chester's livley Street, or if you prefer in the window or one of the tables further back. Coffee is great, although other drinks are available. They have some nice snacks too.... A noce place to sit for a while and relax from sight seeing, shopping or whatever you are doing local or far afield.... Very friendly staff. Restroom And great service with a smile.

Primarily for takeaways, offering tasty coffee and pastries. This appears to be the sister-ship of the larger Jaunty Goat cafe across the road. It's useful to know you can pop here for a takeaway, if you can't get in to the main cafe. Although a takeaway, there are two tables outside, which occupy a relatively quiet spot on the pavement. It's a great place to sit and watch all the hustle and bustle from a distance. I had an Americano, which I can vouch was very strong. It's definitely the place to come for a morning wake-up drink. I would have liked to have seen more of the excellent Jaunty bakes available, like cakes, but on my visit it was only pastries.
