We went to Carmines in Kent Island on Nov 15th, 2023. They are the epitome of how a restaurant should be. Excellent food very fresh vegetables in salad and pizza is very tasty. Very clean, front and,back, and bathrooms. We were welcomed when we came in and they told us upon leaving to have a nice rest of the day. Prices are very reasonable.
Love this place will return whenever we are here vacationing.

Great food. We stopped in on our way to my parents house. Mom had been craving a Italian sub for weeks, so we got her 1 for Mother's day. Our subs were excellent as well. Since discovered, we have stopped here each trip.
Update on 11/3/23 We stopped as usual, but for first time my order was wrong. Since I don't eat meat on Fridays, I'm going without dinner.

Carmines is a fantastic to go for a awesome meal! The customer service is amazing. Anything you want they will make sure everything is served to your satisfaction. The food is very yummy 😋 I highly recommend Carmines!

This chain has good pizza and pasta dishes. On Kent Island, I think this is the best NY style pizza. On Monday, they have $8 cheese pizzas. It's a great bargain!
We also enjoy their spaghetti with meat sauce and spaghetti with meatballs.
We have ordered their catering (baked ziti, chicken Parm, salads, & garlic knots) for a luncheon and it was well received.

Literally breathtaking, it was our first time and we took one bite and it was the best Italian food we've had, the sauce is made in house, you could taste the freshness in the tomato sauce, I got the chicken alla verde dinner special and it was so simple yet so complex in flavor, we are ruined for all other Italian food we ever have. If your on your way to OC or in town this is a MUST HAVE! Great prices, very affordable, great and super fast service, what more could you ask for!

Pregnancy cravings have been insane. This place has saved many meal trips for my husband. I regularly get a chicken and vegetables soup, the Greek salmon wrap with fries and it's perfect every single time. Baby is always satisfied. The staff does great taking in-person and online orders. My husband loves the garlic knots.

Just moved to this side of the Bay Bridge and we stumbled across this wonderful Italian restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. This place had an awesome Italian vibe to it. I had lasagna and a house salad. The portions were large enough that I had plenty left over to take home for dinner for the following night and I can confirm the pasta tasted even better the next night.
